My family and I recently moved to Axum you know the one with the super rich market? Yep that's the one. We are currently living with my uncle and we help him sell his goods at the market place. Honestly Axum is the best place to live because it keeps expanding and there's so much land! I love the market that they have here because I've never seen one so big. My favorite thing to do at the market is watch the new goods come in. Did you know that they are shipped here from all around the world! There is a pattern though we always send gold, glass, and metal and we usually get back spices, oils and dyes. We get these goods from the Roman Empire, Egypt, Arabia ad India how cool is that.
Another cool thing about Axum is all the new people that move here. Mama told me that they move here from places like Asia and the Mediterranean. She said that they move here because Axum is in their trading routs. She said that if Axum was located some other place then we probably wouldn't have a good market or all of these new people wouldn't have moved here. Oh, we are now Christians! One day these people came to Axum and started talking about God and Jesus and I guess it caught on.
